If there is one thing I hate when I commute to work daily, it’s people who walk very VERY slowly. I specifically hate people who think that the rest of us owe them spacial awareness, the ones who walk around with head glued on phone while walking, expecting others to make way for them. I’m actually getting angry just thinking about them!
I also hate slow walkers with umbrellas. Tiny step, after tiny step. Never lifting their umbrellas up, and bumping them on my tiny frame (if I don’t get out of the way, but I do because I’m always spatially aware).
Additionally, I hate slow walkers who walk in a group all abreast. They all often don’t make way for people either behind them wanting to pass, or people in front of them to pass through them. They’re all in a world of their own and they have contempt for everybody else in the world if you’re not in their group.
I think most people who walk slowly without excuse need to either learn to get the fuck out of my way, or stop walking in public. As long as I don’t have to deal with them, I don’t mind.
Just be sure of one thing. I don’t care if a walker is slow or fast, I hate them.
